Cardiovascular Technologist

The Hospitals of Providence is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team in El Paso, Texas.
Job Responsibilities- Perform satisfactory procedures in the Cath Lab utilizing ionizing radiation in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Oversee the entering of patient charges to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Deal effectively and proactively with physicians.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the management team for effective patient care.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Associates of Applied Science in radiologic technology preferred.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or military training CVT (Preferred).
- Current BLS/CPR (Required).
- ACLS within 6 months of hire.
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English.
- Ability to learn and integrate technical aspects of the laboratory as a whole.
- Ability to make quick and accurate decisions under stress and emergency situations.
- Ability to use computers (i.e. Microsoft Office, PAC's systems, Order/Charge entry).
This position requires direct patient care and interaction with family members. The CV Tech must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to interact with various ages of clients served in the course and scope of his/her job duties.
