Banner Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Director to lead our Operating Room team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement operational plans to achieve departmental goals and objectives
- Lead and manage a team of nursing staff to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure efficient use of resources
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred
- Current RN license in state of practice
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in an operating room setting
- Strong knowledge of clinical care management and leadership principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
