About This Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join our National Branch Network team in the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through proactive outreach and proposing suitable products, services, and digital solutions to help customers achieve their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with customers through proactive outreach and personalized service
  • Assist customers with basic requests related to account openings, service requests, and credit applications
  • Develop a deep understanding of bank products and services to effectively connect with customers' needs
  • Interact with customers to demonstrate care and build trust
  • Provide tailored solutions for bank products and services to meet customers' financial needs
  • Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as necessary
Requirements
  • 6+ months of customer-facing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Bilingual speaking and listening proficiency in Spanish/English
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
  • Experience proactively engaging with customers through outreach via phone or email
  • Ability to educate and connect customers to technology and share the value of mobile banking options
  • Ability to help customers succeed financially by offering introductions to additional team members as appropriate
  • Experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs
  • Experience fostering and developing strong customer relationships
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal partners
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and team members
