Position Overview

The Client Services Associate plays a crucial role in performing various teller, administrative, and clerical responsibilities. This position requires frequent interaction with both external and internal stakeholders while managing diverse records and filing systems. Maintaining confidentiality and addressing sensitive matters are key aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Open and maintain member accounts with precision.
  • Efficiently execute and process teller transactions.
  • Follow established cash handling and balancing protocols.
  • Prepare daily corporate deposits.
  • Perform a range of administrative tasks, including answering calls, typing, and filing.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently.
  • Comply with all branch operational procedures.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Assist with general administrative tasks such as attending meetings and generating reports.
  • Support branch staff with special projects as required.
Required Skills and Competencies
  • Proficient in handling monetary transactions accurately.
  • Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and other software applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, and write routine correspondence.
  • Effective communication skills for addressing groups of customers and colleagues.
  • Strong mathematical skills for performing calculations and interpreting data.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and solve problems in standardized situations.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in banking or finance related to the job duties.
  • Experience in cash handling and customer service.
