We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Hospital for Special Surgery. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our state-of-the-art facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain patient rooms, common areas, and other facilities to ensure a comfortable and appealing environment for our patients, customers, and staff.
  • Dust and wash equipment, walls, and floors to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Remove refuse, recyclables, and regulated medical waste to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Sanitize receptacles and other high-touch areas to prevent the spread of infection.
  • Perform other general cleaning tasks as assigned to ensure the overall cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred.
  • Specialized vocational courses are a definite plus.
