Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Advisor to join our team at Ted Baker Bloomingdale's Chestnut Hill location. As a Sales Advisor, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and upholding the Ted Baker brand's high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • People
    • Develop strong relationships with customers and colleagues to drive sales and achieve business objectives.
    • Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
    • Be adaptable and flexible to meet the needs of the business and support the team.
    • Develop strategic partnerships with host store partners to drive business growth.
  • Product
    • Stay up-to-date on current product offerings and increase awareness of the product through effective communication and visual merchandising.
    • Use product knowledge to generate sales and increase customer loyalty to the brand.
    • Follow merchandising guidelines, replenishment procedures, and housekeeping standards to ensure a high-quality shopping experience.
    • Support the management team in executing visual merchandising directives.
  • Commercial
    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of sales techniques and customer service principles to drive sales and achieve business objectives.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Develop a strong understanding of local and customer profiles to drive sales and increase customer loyalty.
    • Actively seek knowledge and take personal ownership of achieving and exceeding location KPIs and supporting all brand promotions and initiatives.
    • Drive B-connected performance by promoting the use of database building and clienteling.
    • Stay up-to-date on competitor activity and local market trends to drive business growth.
  • Operations
    • Be proactive and complete all tasks correctly and efficiently following Company policies and procedures.
    • Adhere to all Company health and safety procedures and use equipment properly.
    • Adhere to all loss prevention measures and protect the assets of the Company by immediately reporting any misuse or theft of Company property to the Manager.
    • Accountable for accurate cash handling and banking procedures, highlighting and resolving discrepancies as a matter of priority as outlined by your host store.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a retail sales role, preferably in fashion.
  • Strong customer service skills with a passion for providing a high-quality shopping experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries and issues professionally.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Enthusiasm for fashion and a keen interest in the Ted Baker brand.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in fashion or retail management is a plus.
