Job Title: LPN or Medical Assistant

We are seeking a skilled LPN or Medical Assistant to join our team at Mercy Clinic Primary Care.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As an LPN or Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing patients for visits with providers, taking vital signs, reviewing patient history and allergies, and completing medication reconciliations.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for visits with providers by completing Advanced Standard room process, including entering chief complaints, taking vital signs, reviewing patient history and allergies, and completing medication reconciliations.
  • Assist with in-office testing, including drawing blood, completing mental status exams, EKGs, walking oxygen studies, and point-of-care testing.
  • Administer vaccines and other injections within scope of practice.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments as needed per office policy.
  • Collaborate with providers and clinical care teams to monitor and coordinate delivery of care plans.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Active LPN licensure or Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA).
  • Preferred experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.
