Key Responsibilities:
The Medication Technician plays a crucial role in the safe administration of medications to residents while offering both physical and emotional support with empathy.

Core Duties:

  • Administer medications according to physician directives
  • Accurately document all medication administrations
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and dressing
  • Communicate any concerns to the Wellness Director
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support residents with daily tasks
  • Assist in recreational programs
  • Perform light housekeeping duties
  • Accompany residents during meals and assist as needed
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions

Qualifications:

  • Completion of state-mandated education and certification requirements
  • Good physical condition with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Preferred experience in Assisted Living environments
