Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacy team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and checking for potential interactions.
• Engage with customers and patients, providing excellent service and support.
• Operate pharmacy systems, including entering patient and drug information, and processing prescriptions.
• Perform various administrative tasks, such as handling cash, processing claims, and maintaining inventory.
• Assist with clinical services, including collecting and labeling blood/urine samples, and supporting pharmacy staff in coordination of clinical services.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.

Requirements:

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
