We are proud to be the ONLY VECCS Level 1 Certified Facility in the region, equipped with a modern facility that supports a variety of specialty services including cardiology, internal medicine, neurology, medical oncology, rehabilitation, and various surgical disciplines.

Role Responsibilities: The Veterinary Rehabilitation Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting veterinary rehabilitation technicians and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with patient restraint techniques for examinations and therapeutic procedures.
  • Monitoring patient behavior and identifying any abnormalities in movement or posture.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Participating in team education and training sessions.
  • Providing compassionate care to both ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients.
  • Conducting routine tasks such as walking, feeding, and obtaining vital signs.
  • Assisting in medical procedures and maintaining sterility during treatments.
  • Learning to operate laboratory equipment and prepare samples for analysis.
  • Engaging in general cleaning and organization of the facility.

Qualifications: Candidates should possess:

  • Prior veterinary experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements: The role requires the ability to respond swiftly in urgent situations and may involve lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.

Work Schedule: This position typically follows a Monday to Thursday day shift.
