Job Summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, including repairs, installations, and testing of electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances, including high voltage and AC/DC circuits.
  • Inspect, test, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communications, and power circuits.
  • Isolate defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment using testing instruments.
  • Repair and replace faulty switches, sockets, and other elements of electrical systems, including fabrication of electrical control panels.
  • Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts.
  • Maintain emergency generators and high voltage switch gear.
  • Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures and local building and safety codes.
Requirements
  • Active Electrical License is a plus, required for some contracts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum five years' construction or maintenance experience in commercial environments.
  • Superior client relations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read and decipher blueprints, as-built construction documents, and electrical diagrams.
  • Complete all documentation required in compliance with a computerized maintenance management system.
  • Must be a team player, have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to succeed.
  • Must provide outstanding customer service to meet the needs of our client.
