We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our Women\u2019s Care team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As an LPN Outpatient Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and education in an ambulatory setting.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide nursing care and patient education to designated patients
* Assist in patient needs assessment, take vital signs, and medical history
* Assist in triage, admission, transfer, and discharge processes
* Develop patient care goals
* Administer medication and monitor results
* Perform treatments at the nursing level
* Assist medical staff with complicated procedures
* Follow up on diagnostic results

Requirements

* Program Graduate
* LPN Accredited Program Graduate
* No minimum experience required
* Bilingual English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
* CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers w/in 30 days
* Licensed Practical Nurse in NM or recip agreement

Working Conditions

* Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people
* Sig Hazard: Chemicals, Bio Hazardous Materials req PPE
* Limited access to med room. Med Admin Policy, Att A
