Position Overview:
As a Retail Product Specialist, your role will involve project-oriented tasks aimed at ensuring that products and displays are visually attractive to engage customers and foster strong connections with store management.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage in merchandising tasks that include, but are not limited to: implementing planograms, conducting resets, setting up displays, performing product cut-ins, executing audits, stocking shelves, light cleaning on completed setups, retagging, and rotating products for various brands.
Ensure that store appearance and merchandise displays align with established planograms.
Accurately log daily hours worked through an online portal accessible via smartphone, computer, or tablet.
Maintain retailer-specific online certifications as required.
Document completed assignments with photographs and report them to your District Manager.
Collaborate and build rapport with retail store associates and management during standard retail hours.
Be adaptable to changing work schedules, including occasional evening or weekend shifts. Some smaller projects may offer flexibility in scheduling.
Qualifications:
Must possess reliable transportation to travel 30 to 60 miles to various locations within the designated area (some positions may require further travel).
Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management (strong communication skills lead to more opportunities).
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, and lift heavy items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Capable of reading diagrams or instructions, processing directives, and utilizing hand tools as necessary.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Benefits:
Paid training sessions.
Reimbursement for mileage, travel expenses, and hotel accommodations with per diem for eligible travelers.
Assignments may vary from 0-40 hours per week based on workload, travel willingness, and acceptance of various projects.
Weekly pay schedule.
W2 Employment status.
Compensation:
$14-$16 per hour.
