Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Tech Perinatal to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, applying fetal and gynecological ultrasound principles, and adapting to various ultrasound machines.
Key Responsibilities- Perform consistently accurate and high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations
- Apply fetal ultrasound principles in the evaluation of fetal anomalies
- Apply gynecological ultrasound principles in the evaluation of patients
- Adapt to various ultrasound machines while maintaining high standards of sonography
- Perform ultrasounds on maternal uterus, cervix, and ovaries
- Perform complicated twin and triplet scans in conjunction with in-office multiple gestation service
- Operate General Electric, Accuson, Medison, and ATL ultrasound machines with proficiency
- Maintain ultrasound logging records, including past medical history, past surgical history, past obstetric history, and past genetic history
- Prepare patients for procedures, including Level I & II ultrasounds, amniocentesis, lung maturity amniocentesis, PUBS, amniotic reduction, external cephalic version, and GYN ultrasound
- Maintain professional relationships with other staff members, obstetric offices, and hospital personnel
- Associate degree in Ultrasound, required
- Bachelor's degree, preferred
