Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting pharmacists with prescription filling, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a clean and organized pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists with prescription filling, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs
  • Maintain accurate records, including patient information and prescription details
  • Ensure a clean and organized pharmacy environment, including restocking shelves and disposing of waste
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including answering questions and resolving issues
  • Develop strong relationships with patients and customers, including those with complex medical needs

Requirements:

  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills
  • Prefer PTCB certification
