We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician II to join our team, responsible for preparing intravenous admixtures, triaging medication-related communications, and maintaining the electronic medical record.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing intravenous admixtures and other pharmaceutical products
  • Triaging medication-related communications and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records
  • Assisting pharmacists with medication management and inventory control
  • Providing excellent customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders

Requirements include:

  • Completion of an approved pharmacy technician training program
  • WA State Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • 1 year pharmacy technician experience or completion of Fred Hutch pharmacy apprentice program
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, concise, and professional manner
  • Ability to perform basic pharmaceutical calculations and use a mouse, navigate computer programs, and enter data into computer systems accurately and efficiently

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center offers a competitive hourly pay range of $32.14, which includes the per diem differential, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
