Nurse Care Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Care Specialist to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our Ambulatory Internal Resource Pool, you will provide clinical direction for patient care in an ambulatory setting, working under the guidance of physicians and advanced practice providers.
About the Role
- Clinical Competency: You will demonstrate clinical competency in all areas of the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes.
- Quality Improvement: You will incorporate knowledge of safety protocols, cost containment, and quality improvement throughout the nursing process.
- Collaboration: You will work collaboratively with the physician(s) and other members of the healthcare team to develop plans of care for patients.
- Patient Education: You will identify and assess patient learning needs, providing education and teaching accordingly.
- Professional Accountability: You will evaluate your own nursing practice, taking personal accountability for maintaining competency through education and professional activities.
What We Offer
Salary: $73,000 - $90,000 per year
