Program Overview

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Enterprise Engineer to join our Defense Enclave Services (DES) team at Ft. Meade, MD. The successful candidate will play a key role in performing discovery, design, and migration tasks to support the development of a world-class Single Service Provider for the Department of Defense.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform initial discovery efforts to define data collection requirements for a successful migration plan
  • Utilize advanced data analysis techniques and benchmarks to develop a future-state migration plan and pre-migration activities
  • Forecast backend infrastructure needs resulting from the migration of over 20 agencies into a single architecture
  • Design solutions, integrate, configure, test, and deploy storage and data protection technologies from EMC, NetApp, Nutanix, and others
  • Optimize end-to-end system performance and migration workflows
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience; additional years of directly applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
  • Proficiency with enterprise-class storage and data protection technologies
  • DoD IAT Level II (Security+) certification or equivalent is required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Consulting firm experience
  • Strong knowledge of networking, servers, cyber, and data center facilities
  • Cloud Migration experience
  • Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) experience

Leidos offers a competitive salary range of $122,000 - $220,900.00 and a comprehensive benefits package.
