Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and evaluate the scheduling, pricing, and performance metrics of programs. Assist in contract negotiations and modifications while coordinating the preparation of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial terms.
  • Establish and uphold work standards, assign timelines, review discrepancies, and effectively communicate the organization's policies, objectives, and goals to team members.
  • Integrate and manage all activities necessary to fulfill requirements, ensuring timely, complete, and high-quality problem identification, Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), prompt issue resolution, effective management of subcontractors, and overall client satisfaction.
  • Maintain and nurture contractor relationships with senior-level personnel within the client's organization.
  • Collaborate with customer and contractor teams to develop and assess task plans and deliverables, ensuring adherence to program schedules, costs, and contractual commitments.
  • Create and sustain a comprehensive Project Management Plan and Quality Control (QC) program, including a schedule of deliverables and monthly reporting obligations.
  • Oversee Profit / Loss responsibilities related to contracts.
  • Support Business Development initiatives linked to assigned contracts and personal expertise.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • PMP certification is essential.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of recent and relevant experience managing similar tasks in contracts of comparable size and scope.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with FEMA, American Red Cross, or similar organizations.
  • A Master's degree is advantageous but not required.

Work Environment: This position offers a hybrid work schedule with expectations for in-office presence as needed.

Citizenship and Security Clearance:

  • U.S. Citizenship is a requirement.
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation.
