Our diverse clientele includes various government departments such as the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Education (DoED), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and other Federal, State, and Local Authorities engaged in pioneering technological advancements. Our team comprises Engineers, Scientists, and Subject Matter Experts with unique qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and evaluate the scheduling, pricing, and performance metrics of programs. Assist in contract negotiations and modifications while coordinating the preparation of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial terms.
- Establish and uphold work standards, assign timelines, review discrepancies, and effectively communicate the organization's policies, objectives, and goals to team members.
- Integrate and manage all activities necessary to fulfill requirements, ensuring timely, complete, and high-quality problem identification, Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), prompt issue resolution, effective management of subcontractors, and overall client satisfaction.
- Maintain and nurture contractor relationships with senior-level personnel within the client's organization.
- Collaborate with customer and contractor teams to develop and assess task plans and deliverables, ensuring adherence to program schedules, costs, and contractual commitments.
- Create and sustain a comprehensive Project Management Plan and Quality Control (QC) program, including a schedule of deliverables and monthly reporting obligations.
- Oversee Profit / Loss responsibilities related to contracts.
- Support Business Development initiatives linked to assigned contracts and personal expertise.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
- PMP certification is essential.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of recent and relevant experience managing similar tasks in contracts of comparable size and scope.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with FEMA, American Red Cross, or similar organizations.
- A Master's degree is advantageous but not required.
Work Environment: This position offers a hybrid work schedule with expectations for in-office presence as needed.
Citizenship and Security Clearance:
- U.S. Citizenship is a requirement.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation.
