Job Overview

Position: Forklift Operator (Supply Chain)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently transfer finished products from the production area to the storage facility.
  • Manage the loading and unloading of finished goods from transportation vehicles.
  • Operate the dunnage machine to create sluters for production use.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilize Trackmobile for the movement of railcars during loading and unloading processes.
  • Handle the loading and unloading of raw materials from trucks and rail cars.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Capable of identifying and troubleshooting minor operational issues and recognizing unsafe conditions.
  • Willingness to undergo training to operate forklifts and other Supply Chain machinery safely.
  • Physical capability to meet the essential demands of the role.
  • Proficient computer skills for data entry related to production and shipping activities.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues in safety, quality, and production maintenance.

Compensation: Hourly Rate: $25.60, subject to adjustment based on qualifications and experience.
