Job Overview

Position: Forklift Operator (Supply Chain)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently transport finished products from the production area to the storage facility.
  • Manage the loading and unloading of completed goods from various transportation vehicles.
  • Operate machinery to create sluters for production line use.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on operational equipment.
  • Utilize Trackmobile for the movement of railcars during loading and unloading processes.
  • Handle the loading and unloading of raw materials from trucks and railcars.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Proficient in identifying and troubleshooting minor operational issues and recognizing potential hazards.
  • Willingness to undergo training and operate forklifts and other Supply Chain machinery safely.
  • Physical capability to meet the essential demands of the role.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry related to production and shipping tasks.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues on safety, quality, and production matters.

Compensation: Hourly wage of $25.60, subject to adjustment based on experience and qualifications.
