Position Summary:

In this position, you will work closely with various departments, including accounting and executive leadership, to support annual planning, budgeting processes, and financial forecasting. Your role will be pivotal in providing financial insights that aid in strategic decision-making and performance evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the management of revenue and expense performance, overseeing operational costs, conducting forecasting analyses, and delivering financial health assessments for designated Business Units (BUs).
  • Generate monthly financial reports that include variance analysis against key benchmarks, track financial and operational key performance indicators (KPIs), and discern business trends.
  • Act as a resource and subject matter expert for Finance Business Partners (FBP) and Executive Leadership, providing functional knowledge and expertise to management and external stakeholders.
  • Examine Profit & Loss (P&L) statements during closing periods to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Maintain the integrity and precision of forecasting data consistently.
  • Collaborate with accounting teams to guarantee accurate recording of expenses and revenues.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analyses to identify challenges, support business decisions, and propose effective solutions.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Finance or a related field is preferred; an MBA is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis is required.
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in P&L analysis and spreadsheet modeling, are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is necessary.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and excellent communication skills are highly valued.
  • Experience with Workday and Adaptive Planning is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for various audiences, including C-Suite executives and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and adapting to changing circumstances.

Compensation:

At Vizient, we evaluate skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation framework. Geographic factors may influence the compensation range, and offers are typically made below the maximum range. The salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $127,000.00. This position is also eligible for incentives.
