Job Summary:

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedics team. As an Acute Care RN, you will provide top-notch patient care, utilizing the nursing process to deliver exceptional outcomes. Your expertise will be valued in a multidisciplinary team approach, prioritizing wellness, patient perspective, and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct patient care in specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) Units of moderate to high patient acuity.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Educators to support individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout clinical orientation.
  • Model proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
  • BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
