Job Summary:

Walgreens is seeking a skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team in an overnight position. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and timely dispensing of medications, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
  • Engage with patients to understand their medication needs and provide education on proper usage and potential interactions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve patient issues and improve health outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy operations, including workflow optimization and inventory management.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current knowledge of pharmacy systems, technology, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
  • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
  • Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
