We want you to applyJob Summary and QualificationsThe Pharmacist is responsible for all drug storage and drug preparation in the hospital. The Pharmacist assists in ensuring that the pharmacy provides optimal services, meets all legal, accreditation and certification requirements and complies with all applicable policies, procedures, codes and standards. The Pharmacist also assists the Director in Clinical, Financial, and Inventory initiatives. Understands that failure to follow established SOP’s for hazardous drugs could potentially lead to risk of adverse effects which may include but not limited to skin rashes, reproductive effects, chronic effects, and cancer.What qualifications you will need:Graduate of a School of PharmacyFive years of hospital pharmacy experienceCurrent license with the Texas State Board of PharmacyMedical City Weatherford is a 100+ bed acute-care hospital. We serve Parker County and surrounding communities. Our medical staff represents 30+ medical specialties. Our health care services include inpatient and outpatient care, medical-surgical and emergency care. We are a designated Comprehensive (Level II) Stroke Facility and Level IV Trauma Center.
