Merryhill School is seeking a skilled Music Teacher to join our team. As a Music Teacher, you will have the opportunity to lay a musical foundation for young students, fostering a lifelong appreciation for music.
You will collaborate with classroom teachers to plan and integrate the core knowledge curriculum within the music program, including music history. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, supervising, and implementing curriculum for our Preschool classrooms
- Collaborating with other faculty and staff members
- Assisting teachers with the use of rhythm instruments
- Introducing young students to the piano, specifically
- Playing piano for classroom performances
We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field, piano proficiency, and sight-reading expertise. Prior teaching experience with young students is preferred. This is a part-time position.
