Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Concrete Finisher Foreman to join our team at Bechtel Corporation. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the concrete finishing process and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and Manage Concrete Finishing Teams: Provide guidance and direction to journeymen and other team members to ensure that all concrete finishing tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  2. Inspect and Monitor Work: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all concrete finishing work meets the required standards and specifications.
  3. Identify and Mitigate Risks: Identify potential risks and hazards on the construction site and take prompt action to mitigate them.
  4. Coordinate with Other Teams: Collaborate with other construction teams to ensure that all work is completed on schedule and to the required standards.
  5. Manage Project Costs: Work closely with the project management team to ensure that all costs are managed effectively and that the project is delivered within budget.
  6. Ensure Quality and Compliance: Ensure that all work is completed to the required quality and safety standards and that all relevant regulations and codes are complied with.
  7. Develop and Implement Procedures: Develop and implement procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the concrete finishing process.
  8. Provide Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to team members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.

Requirements:

  • 6 years of industrial construction experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing construction teams.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
