We are seeking a skilled Concrete Craftsman to join our team at Bechtel Corporation. As a Concrete Craftsman, you will be responsible for mixing and preparing concrete, operating power tools and equipment, and ensuring the quality of our concrete work.

• Mixes and prepares concrete according to specifications, using a variety of tools and equipment.
• Operates power tools and equipment, such as grinders, hammers, and chisels, to remove rough or defective spots from concrete.
• Wets and rubs concrete with an abrasive stone to impart the appropriate finish.
• Screeds, floats, and trowels poured concrete floors, walls, and sidewalks to specified textures using hand tools or power tools.
• Directs concrete to the forms and spreads it to a specified depth and workable consistency.
• Molds expansion joints and edges using jointers, straight edge, and edging tools.
• Assists in lifting, positioning, and securing of materials and work pieces during installation.
• Cleans tools and equipment.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Performs a variety of tasks involving safe dexterous use of hand tools.
• Safely operates power tools and equipment.

• Minimum of 48 months of industrial construction experience.
• Ability to safely traverse uneven terrain with or without tools and building materials.
• Ability to stand or walk on rebar mats (narrow surfaces).
• Ability to climb ladders or stairs and work at heights.
• Adherence to all safety procedures.
