Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to lead our Cardiac Care unit at Next Move Healthcare in Kansas City.

About the Role

This is a dynamic, fast-paced position where you will play a crucial role in supporting patients through their recovery. As a Cardiac Care RN Lead, you will coordinate and provide patient care under the direction of the Director or Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to post-operative cardiac patients and those recovering from cardiovascular procedures.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Assume individual responsibility and accountability for delivering nursing care, following hospital policies and applicable state Nursing Practice Acts.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of acute care cardiac nursing experience.
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Missouri.
  • BLS certification required at the time of hire and must be maintained.
  • ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this role is $30.04 to $41.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
