We are seeking a seasoned Senior Search Marketing Strategist to lead our Paid Search Marketing (SEM) team. This is an exceptional opportunity to drive innovation, build teams, and grow your own skillset at PMG.

Role Overview

As a Senior Search Marketing Strategist, you will be responsible for optimizing and implementing search programs, coaching junior team members, and leading creative and messaging strategies that adhere to Google best practices and client goals. You will also define keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, and other facets of paid search in accordance with client objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead tactical execution and optimization of Search programs, and be responsible for optimizing, implementing, and analyzing marketing activities
  • Coach junior team members on how to perform daily account management on Google Ads, Bing, and other search platforms for various clients
  • Develop and implement creative and messaging strategies that align with Google best practices and client goals
  • Define strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other facets of paid search in accordance with client objectives
  • Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance, providing cross-channel recommendations to maximize revenue and investment for clients
  • Motivate and mentor junior teammates, serving as a search leader across PMG - Drives adoption of PMG's proprietary technology platform Alli within accounts and provides product recommendations that can be leveraged across PMG
  • Provides PMG-wide search training and helps lead departmental initiatives - Integrates highly technical solutions to create custom solutions for clients to drive business results
  • Manages a team of SEM professionals and deploys resources to maximize individual potential and client impact
  • Evaluates resource needs across paid search needs and identifies opportunities to maximize impact

Requirements

  • 6+ years of related work experience
  • 2+ years of direct supervisory experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong interpersonal and training skills
  • High level of emotional intelligence
  • Ability to provide thought leadership within the search landscape
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong team player
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel or SQL
  • Self-motivated and likes to learn new tools and technology
