Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of hydrologic and hydraulic design calculations for stormwater management systems and/or bridge hydraulic and floodplain studies, preparing technical comparisons and similar technical work as required.
  • Contribute to planning, scheduling, and coordinating design work with the team.
  • Review plans, details, and prepare or review technical specifications, contract documents, and cost estimates.
  • Support and coordinate with Highway, Structural, and Geotechnical Engineer design teams and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Detailed-oriented, self-starter comfortable working in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with HEC-RAS, HY-8, SRH-2D, HydroCAD, AutoDesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis, MicroStation (including InRoads), AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred).
  • Familiarity with FHWA, USACE, and AASHTO design guidance is desirable.
  • FE/EIT (preferred).
