Production Supervisor Opportunity

Schwan's Company, a leading U.S. manufacturer and marketer of quality foods, is seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team at our frozen pie manufacturing facility in Stilwell, OK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct production, packaging, and bakery operations to ensure company and USDA requirements are met.
  • Supervise, train, and develop subordinates to achieve high-quality products and efficient processes.
  • Manage employee performance, conduct performance appraisals, and administer disciplinary action as needed.
  • Ensure safety, housekeeping, and policy administration are maintained at the highest level.
  • Collaborate with the USDA representative to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Monitor product quality, usage, waste, and weights to optimize performance and attainment.
  • Prepare and review operational reports to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of related work experience in food industry manufacturing or equivalent combination of education and experience, with at least 2 years in supervision.
  • Intermediate personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and SAP experience beneficial.
  • Knowledge of robotics used in production and ability to effectively supervise line employees.
  • Strong communication and reasoning skills to provide a positive work environment.
