Job Overview

The Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency is seeking a Transportation and Community Planning Specialist to contribute to our advanced professional team. This role focuses on transportation and community planning, research, urban design, and the execution of various initiatives related to the Blueprint Infrastructure Program.

As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for:

  • Long-range transportation planning and project design development.
  • Communicating project planning and progress to the Intergovernmental Agency Board of Directors.
  • Engaging with the community regarding Blueprint Infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinating with agency partners including local and state transportation agencies.

This position requires collaboration with the Blueprint Planning Manager and will involve project management, grant application development, and citizen engagement. You will also play a vital role in formulating preferred concepts for various infrastructure projects.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A master's degree in planning, public administration, or a related field with one year of relevant professional experience; or
  • A bachelor's degree in planning, public administration, or a related field with two years of relevant professional experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Special Requirements:

At the discretion of the department director, a valid Class E State driver's license may be required for this position.
