Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Assisted Living team as an Assisted Living Area Director. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Assisted Living program, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geriatric care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with families and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement care plans for residents, taking into account their unique needs and preferences.
  • Supervise and mentor resident care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they deliver high-quality care.
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing and activities, to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a senior living setting.
  • Proven track record of leadership and supervisory experience, preferably in a geriatric care environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with families, healthcare professionals, and staff.
