Nurse Fellow

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Fellow to join our team at Inova Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and enhancing the patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments to collect basic data and follow written plans of care, standards, and practice guidelines.
- Utilize assessment data and patient preferences to identify patient care needs and organize, prioritize, and deliver patient care to assigned patients.
- Monitor patients' progress toward expected outcomes and adjust plans of care accordingly.
- Provide compassionate and empathetic hands-on care while maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
- State rationale for clinical decisions based on educational knowledge, principles, and evidence-based practices.
- Work efficiently within the healthcare team to achieve maximum productivity and identified outcomes.
- Accurately document all patient care activities, as per documentation standards, and seek assistance from others to further develop documentation skills.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and meetings as an active member of the healthcare team.
- A minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience.
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within five years of start date.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association required.
- RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.
- Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others. Proficient computer skills required.
