About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Apopka. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing radiographic imaging procedures, positioning patients, and operating imaging equipment safely and effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all exams using established protocols and proper patient identification
  • Screen patients for contrast allergies and educate them on the exam process
  • Operate all imaging equipment safely and properly, minimizing radiation exposure to patients, families, and coworkers
  • Complete required documentation for Radiologist support
  • Position patients and equipment to produce radiographic images meeting Radiologist's standards
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent two years of experience in a related field
  • Graduate of accredited Radiologic Science program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Completion of Radiologic Technology training and A.R.R.T. registration
  • General Radiographer state license as required by state if applicable
