About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Education Leadership Specialist to design and implement cutting-edge clinical and non-clinical training programs for our dynamic teams. As part of this role, you will oversee new hire orientation, competency assessments, and ongoing training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement educational policies and curricula aligned with organizational goals, focusing on OR, ENDO, SPD, and related areas.
  • Evaluate staff through skills demonstrations, written tests, and observation to ensure clinical excellence.
  • Mentor educators and trainers while partnering with stakeholders to enhance learning opportunities and outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to AAMI, Joint Commission, CMS, and other regulatory standards in all training programs.
  • Oversee educational materials, budgets, and facilities to support training initiatives effectively.
  • Monitor program effectiveness through data collection and analysis, recommending improvements to drive outcomes.
  • Incorporate simulation-based training and immersive learning experiences into programs to enhance engagement and retention.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Education Leadership, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in clinical education, specifically within operating room or sterile processing settings.
  • Active RN license or CST certification; CRCST certification required within 120 days.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills with a passion for mentoring and education.
  • Technical proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (50%+).
Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $125,000 per year
