We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician II to join our team at Orlando Health. As a Pharmacy Technician II, you will play a critical role in supporting the operational and distribution responsibilities of the Pharmacy department.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with operational and distribution responsibilities, including software and hardware systems.
- Demonstrate an understanding of safety, emergency, and risk management procedures.
- Understand the hospital mission, personnel policies, philosophy, goals, customer service, and objectives of the Pharmacy and Orlando Health.
- Identify and utilize resources and departments for customer service and patient care.
- Operate equipment required for pharmacy procedures, consistent with operating instructions, safety regulations, and policy and procedures.
- Perform basic Pharmacy Technician procedures, including drug procurement and medication distribution.
- Accurately assist the Pharmacist in all duties pertaining to medication distribution, including aseptic techniques and automated dispensing cabinets.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Maintains current Pharmacy Technician registration with the Florida State Board of Pharmacy.
- Greater than one year up to four (4) of experience as a pharmacy technician.
