A Registered Professional Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering comprehensive patient care through systematic assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation processes.
This position involves the responsibility of prescribing, delegating, coordinating, supervising, and assessing patient education as well as overseeing the activities of ancillary nursing staff, all while upholding the highest standards of professional nursing practice.
The Registered Nurse is equipped to provide both direct and indirect care to patients, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
Qualifications:
A. Educational Background:
Must be a graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or possess an equivalent qualification.
B. Professional Experience:
Preferred candidates will have a minimum of six (6) months of relevant experience.
C. Licensure and Certifications:
Must hold a current license or permit to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA is required within two (2) weeks of employment.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is mandatory within eight (8) weeks of employment.
Completion of an Arrhythmia Recognition Course is also required within eight (8) weeks of employment.
Work Schedule:
This position is PRN with a Tele Tier Plan available, offering a flexible schedule.
Compensation Tiers:
Tier 1: Base rate based on experience, with three shifts in a six-week schedule.
Tier 2: $40/hour for six shifts in a six-week schedule.
Tier 3: $45/hour for twelve shifts in a six-week schedule.
Tier 4: $50/hour for eighteen shifts in a six-week schedule.
Additional shift differentials apply for night and weekend shifts.
