As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our small modular reactor (SMR-300) technology.
Key Responsibilities- Test Planning and Execution: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, and specifications to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare and review technical documents, including test reports, procedures, and specifications, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Test Witnessing and Approval: Witness testing activities, approve test commencement and completion, and ensure that all testing is conducted in accordance with established procedures.
- Problem-Solving and Technical Support: Provide technical support for problem-solving and troubleshooting, and develop solutions to complex technical issues.
- Test Facility Development: Develop an understanding of test facilities and instrumentation, and provide input on the design and development of new test facilities.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all testing activities are conducted in accordance with 10 CFR 50 Appendix B compliant quality assurance programs, such as NQA-1.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
- Experience: Proven experience in laboratory experimentation, including procedure and report writing, data processing, and technical writing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar data processing software, and experience with system code thermal-hydraulic analysis (e.g. RELAP).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and in team settings, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Regulatory Compliance: Eligibility to work under 10 CFR Part 810.
