Position Overview
Managers within our Corporate practice oversee various engagements for clients ranging from multinational corporations to emerging startups.
In this role, Managers can anticipate:
- Participating in business development initiatives (e.g., preparing proposals, presenting in webinars, collaborating with other service lines to deliver a comprehensive tax strategy to prospective and existing clients);
- Maintaining client communication to ensure satisfaction, meet deadlines, stay updated on legislative changes, and effectively lead transitions;
- Conducting thorough reviews of complex tax returns, including federal and state filings;
- Providing support for ASC 740 tax provisions and overseeing preparation;
- Supervising, training, mentoring, and evaluating Interns, Associates, and Senior Associates;
- Receiving formal corporate tax training, on-the-job training, direct feedback from leading tax professionals, and opportunities for further training through internal and external resources.
Compensation and Benefits
Our firm offers a competitive base salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and a discretionary employee bonus program for eligible employees based on individual and firm performance metrics as per defined program guidelines.
Benefits include coverage for employees (and their families) under medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees can enroll in our firm’s 401(k) plan upon hire. We provide paid time off starting at 160 hours annually and offer twelve paid holidays throughout the year. For a complete list of benefits, please refer to our benefits offerings.
In addition to competitive base compensation, our firm provides annual discretionary bonuses based on both firm and individual performance, a discretionary long-term cash incentive program, and other forms of discretionary compensation that would be offered to the hired applicant in addition to their established salary range scale.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in an accounting firm, with at least 3 years focused on Corporate Tax;
- A Bachelor’s and/or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (preferred);
- An advanced credential permitting client representation before the Internal Revenue Service (e.g., CPA or JD);
- A self-starter with the initiative to identify opportunities and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment;
- Proficiency in technology usage.
