Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to work on a travel assignment in Gainesville, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MRI procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
- Under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and the Imaging Services Director, perform related technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care.
- Interview patients to explain MRI procedures, address concerns, and provide exceptional patient care.
- Ensure patient and staff safety by following safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
- Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
- Two years of continuous experience as a MRI Technologist, with proficiency in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
- License in the required state.
- BLS certification.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
- Two years of hospital experience in a clinical area, with EP preferred.
