Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist

Focus Staff is seeking a skilled Travel MRI Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to work on a travel assignment in Gainesville, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MRI procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and the Imaging Services Director, perform related technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care.
  • Interview patients to explain MRI procedures, address concerns, and provide exceptional patient care.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by following safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
Requirements:
  • Two years of continuous experience as a MRI Technologist, with proficiency in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
  • License in the required state.
  • BLS certification.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
  • Two years of hospital experience in a clinical area, with EP preferred.
