Role Responsibilities
As a Surgical Anesthesia Support Technician, you will play a vital role in the intra-operative phase of patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the preparation and organization of surgical equipment and sterile supplies for procedures.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of the surgical unit by maintaining cleanliness and readiness of work areas.
- Performing decontamination and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
- Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure all necessary supplies are available and functioning.
- Monitoring equipment and reporting any maintenance needs promptly.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- An Associate's Degree in a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant patient care experience is preferred, with at least 1 year in an operating room setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within a specified timeframe.
- Anesthesia Technician Certification is preferred.
