We are seeking a skilled Recovery Room Nurse to join our team at Corewell Health. As a key member of our Post Anesthesia Care Unit, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth recovery for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide professional patient care, incorporating patient-family centered care principles to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge.
- Develop teaching strategies for patient/family and document education and learning appropriately in the health record.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Flex between spaces depending on patient volumes, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing wait times.
- Associates in Nursing Required
- Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
- 2+ years of PACU, ICU or ED RN experience Preferred
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Required with 90 days
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required within 6 months
