Position Overview

Aardvark Studios is looking for a skilled and experienced Driver to support our nationwide marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of DOT regulations and electronic logging systems, along with significant experience driving 26ft. box trucks weighing under 26,000 lbs. This role involves traveling across the United States, making it ideal for those who enjoy the open road and discovering new locations. All travel-related expenses, including lodging and daily allowances, will be fully covered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the vehicle, strategize driving routes, and oversee all logistics related to the vehicle, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and accurately logging service hours.
  • Facilitate event load-in and ensure the vehicle is securely positioned at the event site.
  • Prepare the vehicle for events by setting up necessary equipment such as stairs, generators, lighting, and IT components including WiFi and sound systems.
  • Establish the event layout and incorporate all brand elements effectively.
  • Monitor and address any mechanical, technological, or equipment issues that arise during events.
  • Maintain a clean and organized event area, managing packing supplies and disposing of waste appropriately.
  • Run errands for tour necessities, including supplies and refreshments for staff.
  • Disassemble, pack, and secure all equipment and brand materials at the conclusion of events.
Qualifications
  • Possess a clean driving record.
  • Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Capability to lift over 50 pounds.
  • Mechanical and technical aptitude.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset for both clients and the organization.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Valid Real ID or USA Passport with the ability to travel throughout the United States.
