We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Per Diem Direct Support Professional to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network. As a Per Diem Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities to live a higher quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support to program participants that meets their needs and promotes community integration.
- Create a nurturing, safe, and healthful living environment.
- Check in weekly with Assistant Directors or Administrators to discuss open shifts.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other services providers, participants' parents/relatives/guardians, and agency staff to ensure seamless support.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Both written and spoken English language proficiency.
- Washington State Driver's License, a Reliable Vehicle, Auto Insurance, and willingness to transport clients.
- First Aid/CPR Certified (training can be provided).
- Nurse Assistant Registered (NAR) certification (initially at employee's own expense).
- Ability to lift 50lbs and work in various weather conditions.
