Job Summary

This role will interact with potential clients, referral sources, and internal stakeholders to facilitate the pre-admission process for treatment at Bradford Health Services. The goal is to collect relevant information and motivate individuals to take appropriate action regarding suggested treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer inbound calls, build rapport, and gather initial information to capture clients in our CRM system.
  • Complete pre-admissions screenings, compare against intake criteria, and escalate for supervisor review when necessary.
  • Gather collateral information from referral sources, family members, and patient stakeholders.
  • Evaluate patient insurance and financial eligibility, discuss financial terms, and motivate patients to start treatment.
  • Advocate for clients, clear roadblocks to admission, and provide referrals to patients where necessary.
  • Collect, record, and convey pertinent client information to supervisors, clinical teams, and staff.
  • Send follow-up materials, including screening summary letters and drug screens, to referral sources.
  • Ensure HIPAA and 42 C.F.R. Part 2 regulations are followed to protect patient health information.
  • Track potential patients not admitted and follow up to convert to admission.
  • Complete assigned trainings and competencies.
  • Record daily patient-related activities in the CRM system.
Requirements
  • Minimum two years of undergraduate studies or 5 years of relevant work experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, CRSS certification a plus.
  • Knowledge of chemical dependency preferred.
  • Customer service and/or sales experience required.
  • Computer data entry skills required, type 40 wpm required, CRM software experience preferred.

  • Be able to operate in a metrics-driven culture.
  • Be able to work in a cooperative manner with co-workers, managers, patients, families, and perspective patients and families.
  • Possess a working knowledge of chemical dependency signs and symptoms in adults and adolescents.
  • Possess a working knowledge of emergency, benevolent, and/or self-help referral information.
  • Be able to accurately discuss all services Bradford provides.
  • Ability to identify and escalate priority issues.
  • Regular attendance, consistently punctual and dependable for all scheduled shifts.
  • Displays a willingness to be flexible with daily schedule.
