Job Summary

First Northern Bank & Trust is seeking a highly skilled Bank Teller to provide exceptional customer service and support our banking operations. As a Bank Teller, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, maintaining accurate records, and promoting our bank's products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments
• Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and cash handling
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
• Promote our bank's products and services to customers, identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information and adhere to bank policies and procedures
• Work collaboratively with other bank staff to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required
• Six months to one year of teller experience preferred, but not required
• Previous cash handling experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other banking software
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
