SUMMARY
Our Sun & Ski location is in search of a motivated Bike & Snow Shop Lead. We seek individuals who possess the passion and determination to excel in a collaborative environment. In this role, you will guide a team dedicated to transforming the customer experience. Alongside managing and nurturing this successful team, you will optimize processes and foster an engaging, interactive, and enjoyable atmosphere for both customers and staff.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure your team consistently delivers exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations.

Provide high-quality service promptly.
Complete all necessary documentation accurately.
Record any identified issues with shop repairs not noted on the service ticket.
Promote additional merchandise, accessories, and repair services to customers.
Train and develop bike shop associates, assessing them for ongoing improvement.
Identify challenges and opportunities, presenting effective solutions.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures among Bike Shop Employees.
Participate in Bike Clinics both in-store and externally to enhance product knowledge.
Advocate for Sun & Ski Sports within the local community.
Assist with various cycling and snow sports events.

Maintain communication with the Store Manager, District Manager, and Home Office team to stay informed about company initiatives.

Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize inventory loss and maintain accurate cash control.

REQUIREMENTS
1+ years of management experience; ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
2+ years of retail or bike shop experience; understanding of business operations and shrink reduction.
Proficiency in networking, recruiting, interviewing, training, and developing staff.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors, buyers, store teams, and upper management.

Must possess organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a keen attention to detail, are essential.

Outdoor Enthusiast:
A passion for cycling, skiing, snowboarding, water sports, surfing, swimming, skateboarding, and more is highly valued.
