Guidance Counselor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Counselor to join our team at Adams and Associates, Inc. as a Guidance Counselor - Student Success Specialist. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the lives of our students and supporting their transition into the workforce.

• Provide personal and career counseling to students to enhance their employability and ensure continued enrollment and success in the Job Corps program.
• Identify and remediate student barriers to success and develop individualized student career educational plans.
• Establish supportive and mentoring relationships with students throughout their enrollment and provide personal, educational, and career counseling.
• Provide ongoing assessment of student progress in Academic, Career Technical, and Independent Living.
• Develop and update student Personal Career Development Plans.
• Coordinate services for students to ensure student retention and success in the program.
• Routinely evaluate and document student performance using case management system.

• Bachelor's degree (including at least 15 semester hours in Social Services-related instruction) from an accredited school required.
• A minimum of one-year experience in counseling or a related field.
• Prefer previous Job Corps or related program experience.
• Must possess a valid in-State Driver's License and meet Company insurability requirements.
